The Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry has confirmed that the fire ban will be lifted effective 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
Residents may resume open-air burning in accordance with the Town’s Open-Air Burning By-law and all applicable provincial regulations.
Please continue to use caution and burn responsibly. Never leave a fire unattended, ensure fires are fully extinguished before leaving the area, and always keep a means of extinguishing the fire nearby.
