The Town of Smooth Rock Falls has engaged Harriman & Associates to study the feasibility of a new independent housing project. The team is exploring options for affordable housing that meets our community’s needs — including unit numbers, layout, amenities, and rental rates.

Preliminary design work begins in 2025, with construction planned for 2026.

Before our public meetings, we encourage all residents to complete the 10-minute community housing survey. Your feedback will help guide the design, location, and features of the project. Then, join us at the Community Centre on November 18, 2025 to learn more and share your thoughts in person:

Session 1: Aging at Home — 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM (RSVP required – call 705-338-2717 to reserve your spot)

Session 2: Public Meeting — 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM (no RSVP required)
