Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs
The Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs is committed to success of Ontario’s rural communities and its food and agriculture sectors. Their mandate is to support Ontario’s agri-food sector, enforce and improve food safety and strengthen Ontario’s rural communities.
Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing
The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing works closely with local governments and partners across Ontario to help them build safe, affordable, and strong urban and rural communities with dynamic local economies, abundant green space and a high quality of life.
Ministry of Northern Development and Mines
The Ministry of Northern Development and Mines advocates on behalf of Ontario’s northern region, as well as on behalf of the province’s minerals industry. They deliver government programs and services in Northern Ontario and represent the interests of partners and stakeholders at Queen’s Park.
Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation
The Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation (NOHFC) is a crown corporation and development agency of the Ontario government that invests in northern businesses and municipalities through conditional contributions, forgivable performance loans, incentive term loans and loan guarantees.

The Ontario Fire Marshall and Emergency Management provides municipalities and provincial ministries with training, guidelines, expertise and other resources to effectively prevent, respond and recover from public safety hazards.

Municipal Property Assessment Corporation
MPAC is a non-for-profit corporation funded by Ontario’s municipalities that evaluate and categorizes all properties in Ontario in compliance with the Assessment Act and regulations set by the Government of Ontario.
