The Town of Smooth Rock Falls has implemented an emergency notification system where urgent messages can be sent directly from the Town to residents through an app, email, text messaging, and pre-recorded telephone call messages.

Emergency examples:

• Boil water advisories
• Evacuation notices
• Burning restrictions
• Sudden garbage pickup changes
• Prolonged power outages
• Other urgent matters

Non-emergency examples:

• Major community events and announcements
