Town of SRF Utility Billing – Canada Post Labour Interruptions

Attention residents
Due to ongoing labour interruptions at Canada Post, the Town of Smooth Rock Falls is currently unable to mail out the final utility billing that is due December 20th 2024. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Here are your available options:
1. Your bill can be picked up at the Town Hall at 142 First Ave.
2. Your bill can be emailed to you, please call 705-338-2717 or email townhall@townsrf.ca.
3. You can call the Town Hall at 705-338-2717 to confirm the billing amount.
Here are your current payment options:
1. Pay your bill directly at the Town Hall at 142 First Ave.
2. The easiest solution for payments is by paying through your online banking or paying at your local branch and/or;
3. Signing up with the Town for pre-authorized payments.
4. With mail currently not being processed with Canada Post. It is being recommended to use other couriers such as Purolator, FedEx, and UPS.
Friendly Reminder:
Please be careful when making online banking payments for your property taxes and water and sewer and ensure payments are made to the correct account.
Please note to make online banking payments towards your water & sewer, please add “Smooth Rock Falls (Town of) Utilities” as a payee and use your 12 digits roll number as account number, ex: 000123456000.
To make online banking payments towards your property taxes, please add “Smooth Rock Falls (Town of) Taxes” as a payee and use your 19 digits roll number starting with 5648 as the account number. Ex: 5648000001234560000.
