Today marks an exciting milestone for Smooth Rock Falls as the official groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Seniors’ Attainable Housing Project.
This much-anticipated development will provide 20 modern, accessible two-bedroom rental units for adults aged 55+, helping seniors remain independent while continuing to live in the community they call home. The project will also include shared indoor and outdoor common spaces to encourage social connection and active living.
Construction by Descon Construction Ltd. is now underway, with the first residents expected to move in Fall 2027.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate this exciting milestone and to all of our partners who have helped bring this vision to life.
